The majority of chairs and entertainment chairs should come with a manual that details each step. However, most individuals find it difficult to follow the product’s included instructions. However, it is not necessary to read the manual to learn how to assemble an office chair.
To start putting together your desk chair, you won’t need too many things. Find a 12 mm accessible wrench and get all of your office chair’s parts together, then you can start.
Assembly Guidelines for Chairs
First, take your chair out of the box. Make sure to take the plastic off of every part that has it. Set up the parts so you can find them easily once you start putting the chair together. Now, let’s start putting the chair together with our instructions for putting together a task chair:
1. Joining the mechanism and the chair
First, you’ll have to connect this same seat to the main part of the chair. There should be a few bolts with screw heads inside the box (typically, there are four). Go ahead and start bolting the seat to the mechanism. Do it as tightly as you can because this part will hold most of your weight when you’re sitting down. Flip the chair over and slide it home onto the mechanism. Once you’ve done that, make sure none of it falls over by bolting it all as tightly as you can.
2. Glue the chair on
If you look at the bottom of your white ergonomic chair, you’ll see that there are some holes on the sides. There is where the armrests will go. You should have two extra bolts for each armrest, for a total of four, so that you can safely attach them to the chair.
3. Attach the casters
Next, get your new chair’s five-star base and the wheels. You have to push down on each caster as you connect it to the base. Do it until you hear a click. That means the caster is attached to the chair correctly.
4. Attach the chair’s gas strut to the mechanism
First, find the cover for the gas strut and put it on. Then, connect the whole thing to the base with five stars. The next step is to attach the chair mechanism towards the five-star base. At this point, your chair should be completely put together.
5. Connect the accessories
If you bought a chair with a backrest or a footrest, for example, you must attach them to their right places. The armrest goes in the backrest, and the footstool might be attached towards the underside of the seat.
6. Look over the chair
The very last step is to make sure everything is attached well and that you don’t forget any bolts. If everything is fine, you can now use your chair however you want.
